Resources for Faculty and Staff

The University Graduate Council consists of faculty from each campus who review and make recommendations regarding the quality and nature of programs, policies and standards related to graduate education.

Charged with approving curriculum and enforcing policies and procedures, the Graduate College is the designated authority on graduate education policies, curricula quality, and best practices, guiding students, faculty, and staff to drive program progress and student success. The council serves in an advisory capacity to the Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate College.

The Initial Submission Deadline for Graduate College (GC) Review accounts for the UGC review and differs from the Provost's Office deadline for undergraduate programs.

^Last meeting for new concentrations for a possible Fall 2026 start.
Note that this is pending no delays with governance review, operational setup, etc.
