Virtual, interdisciplinary events celebrate Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month

The final week of Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month is upon us, and 2020 brought an adjustment to the celebratory events including virtual art exhibits, lectures and performances. This month is observed by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of Chicanx, Latinx, Hispanic individuals as well as groups who identify with and strive to create a more inclusive environment for these communities.

Mark your calendars for the Virtual Paint Social with artist Lalo Cota at Frida's Garden on October 16 and the Dia de los Muertos Celebration on November 2. For a complete list of remaining events, visit https://eoss.asu.edu/student-and-cultural-engagement/heritage/hispanic-latinx-heritage-month-calendar

As this year’s festivities draw to a close, check out this ASU Now article from 2016 https://asunow.asu.edu/20161013-sun-devil-life-asu-community-hispanic-heritage.
